I went for a hike at a local park by myself to clear my head, found a bench in an empty field, and let myself cry about the loss for the first time. As I sat there, a swarm of dragonflies flew up everywhere around me out of the grass. That’s when I looked up the significance and learned that the dragonfly symbolizes wisdom, change, transformation, and adaptability in life.
